Dubai, UAE, April 2023: Georges Farhat has been appointed as Cluster General Manager of Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites and La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments. The hotel has added exciting new facilities in April 2023, which include flexible meeting rooms, spa, an exclusive Avani Club and a Lebanese-inspired restaurant that upgrade the concept of stylish urban living and contemporary comfort in one of Dubai’s most sought-after areas.

Farhat joined Minor Hotels to lead Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites through pre-opening in the midst of the global pandemic. Since then, he has successfully positioned it as a standout property in the city, delivering record numbers for two consecutive years. During this time, the hotel has earned multiple awards and accolades, including Green Growth 2022 Platinum, World Luxury Hotel Awards for Luxury City Serviced Apartments 2022, Leaders in Hospitality Awards 2023 for Best Hotel Hygiene practices, Hotelier Middle East Award for Hotel Team of the year 2022; achieved HACCP certification within six months of  opening; and contributed to a green initiative that reduced plastic waste by 250,000 bottles a year.

    LA SIRÈNE

La Sirène, Avani Palm View’s homage to Lebanese coastal culture, opens in April. An urban lifestyle eatery and terrace that evokes the soul of Lebanon will transport diners to the ‘Pearl of the Middle East’ through an exciting new menu that includes specialities such as sea bass sababiyah, double-cooked octopus and tasty mezze. Lebanese street food favourites with a twist will also be on offer, ideal for quick al fresco bites with friends or a lunch with colleagues. Those with a sweet tooth will savour the knafeh and mafroukeh from the dessert menu. Stunning views stretch across Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and Burj Al Arab, making it the perfect backdrop for a special occasion.

    MEETING ROOMS

Host your events at Avani Palm View Dubai’s up-to-date, flexible meeting rooms, Palm 1 and Palm 2, which are ideal for a cordial business meeting or the hottest social event of the year. The rooms feature glamorous views of Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab, along with the latest, state-of-the-art technology, including high-definition video conferencing and interactive whiteboards. With a range of amenities, guests will have a pleasant and productive environment to meet or mingle, including comfortable seating, customisable temperature controls, and more. Avani’s dedicated team will also be there to ensure each event runs smoothly from beginning to end.

    AVANI CLUB

For those looking for a more private venue, the Avani Club is now available for eligible guests. With a contemporary interior, the Avani Club offers a place for socialisation with a luxurious assortment of refreshments, drinks, and delicacies and a terrace overlooking mesmerising vistas of Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab. Guests can also enjoy a delicious breakfast as well as a la carte options at the lounge and save 20% on food and drinks at Seven Seeds and La Sirène restaurant. Avani Club is open daily from 6:30am to 10:00pm.

“We understand that our guests’ needs and preferences are constantly evolving, which is why we’ve made a significant investment towards adding these exciting new facilities in the property and re-positioning it as a destination. This move is a testament to our commitment to delivering unparalleled hospitality and we look forward to welcoming our guests and creating unforgettable memories for them during their stay with us,” says Georges Farhat, Cluster General Manager of Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites and La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments.”

In addition to his role at Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites, Farhat will also manage the full renovation and conversion of La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments, which will become an NH Collection flagged property by the end of the year.

Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is a soaring, 48-storey property located in one of Dubai’s most convenient locations, nestled between Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Media City, and Dubai Marina, where the city’s world-famous shopping malls, dining, entertainment and beach destinations are located. The hotel and suites boast exceptional spaces perfect for balancing leisure and work, while giving guests an authentic Dubai experience, through its 247 Avani Serviced Apartments, ranging from 41sqm studios, up to 165sqm three-bedroom units, with eleven different room types to choose from.
