Burgan Bank customers, families, football enthusiasts, guests, and sports figures enjoyed the event, experiencing the tournament in an exceptional atmosphere. The initiative featured various entertainment activities, interactive games, and Q&A sessions, with giveaways and prizes presented to attendees alongside complimentary coffee from Caribou Coffee. In parallel, the Bank rolled out a dedicated competition across its social channels.

This event comes as part of Burgan Bank’s social responsibility and sustainable development efforts, as well as its commitment to applying the principles of sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG), through initiatives that contribute to enhancing community interaction and building effective local partnerships that provide added value to society.

The Bank also leveraged this event to enhance financial and banking awareness among visitors by shedding light on the ‘Let’s Be Aware’ (Diraya) campaign, launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA) in collaboration with local banks. The Bank’s team focused on educating attendees about the most prominent financial fraud methods that may increase during international sporting events, such as fake links and offers related to match tickets, prizes, and competitions. They emphasized the importance of verifying information sources and never sharing banking details or PINs with any untrusted party. These educational efforts are part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to promoting financial literacy and secure banking practices.

In addition to its community-focused activation, Burgan Bank also organized a series of internal World Cup engagement activities for its employees, reflecting the Bank’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.Top of FormBottom of Form
