    Burgan Bank Concludes Its National Initiative in Honor of the Kuwait Fire Force Frontliners

    As part of its ongoing commitment to recognizing and supporting frontline workers, Burgan Bank concluded its national initiative to honor the frontline firefighters of the Kuwait Fire Force in recognition of their efforts and dedication to their national and humanitarian duty to ensure the safety and security of lives and property alike. The initiative witnessed active participation from the subsidiaries of Kuwait Projects Holding Company (KIPCO) as well as Kuwaiti business owners and entrepreneurs, reflecting the spirit of community solidarity and appreciation for the exceptional efforts made by the members of the Kuwait Fire Force in serving the nation, especially during the recent exceptional circumstances.

    This initiative comes as part of Burgan Bank’s social responsibility strategy and its committed practice of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles – which manifest in supporting national initiatives, empowering the community, and building effective partnerships that contribute to achieving a positive and sustainable impact, in line with the goals of Kuwait Vision 2035.

    This took place in the presence of Brigadier General Mohammed Bader Al-Gharib, Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the Kuwait Fire Force, along with Ms. Danah Faisal Al Jasem, General Manager of Corporate Communications at Burgan Bank, and Ms. Hessa Hussein Al-Najada, Senior Manager of Media Relations and CSR at Burgan Bank, in addition to a number of representatives of the Bank and the Kuwait Fire Force, in appreciation of frontliners’ dedication and devotion during the exceptional circumstances that the country faced, and their continued sincere performance of their national duty to preserve Kuwait’s security and serve the community.

    This comes as part of Burgan Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Kuwait Fire Force personnel and to honoring their pivotal role in serving the community. These efforts also stem from the Bank’s conviction that national responsibility translates into actions, hereby reflecting the institution’s appreciation of those who were and still are the first line of defense for Kuwait and the primary supporters of its security and stability. Collectively, such efforts relay a message of appreciation and gratitude that says: “Thank you to those whose actions rained down love and loyalty to the country.”

    Among the participating partners are: kuwait Hospital, OSN+, Alothman Outlet, Moro, Shuffle Gents Salon, Thkur Jewelry, Lapomdamour, Flare Fitness, Macros Healthy Meals, Ali Kakoli Group for Men’s Fabrics, High Clean Laundry, Workshop, Caribou Coffee, Golbha Game App, and Taboo Spa.

    Commenting on Burgan Bank’s participation in the initiative, Ms. Danah Faisal Al Jasem, General Manager – Corporate Communications at Burgan Bank, said: ‘This initiative comes in appreciation of the members of the Kuwait Fire Force who continue to perform their national duty in all circumstances, playing a pivotal role in reinforcing community safety and protecting lives and communities – especially in light of the recent exceptional circumstances the country has witnessed, which required a high level of preparedness and effective response. At Burgan Bank, we are committed to celebrating frontline workers and highlighting their contributions, stemming from our belief in the importance of supporting national talent who form the first line of defense in facing challenges and emergencies.. We were delighted by the overwhelming response to the initiative from members of the Kuwait Fire Force, as well as the participation of Kuwaiti business owners and entrepreneurs, which reflects a spirit of solidarity and social responsibility and underscores the importance of honoring those who dedicate their efforts to serving the nation.’

    On his part, Brigadier General/ Mohammed Bader Al-Gharib, Director of Public Relations and Media at the General Fire Force stated:” This initiative holds great moral value for members of the Kuwait Fire Force, as it reflects societal appreciation for the role they play in maintaining the safety of individuals and property. He commended Burgan Bank’s and the participating partners’ efforts in organizing this initiative, which embodied the values ​​of loyalty and recognition of the efforts of national personnel. This recognition comes in appreciation of the efforts made by the members of the Kuwait Fire Force during the recent exceptional period and underscores the importance of strengthening community partnerships between private sector institutions and government entities. We would also like to express our gratitude to Burgan Bank for this gesture of appreciation, which contributes to motivating our personnel and encouraging them to uphold their dedication to serving the nation and society.”
