From striking architecture and luxury retail to family entertainment and diverse dining experiences, Doha’s malls have evolved into destinations in their own right. This August, visitors from across the GCC can discover another side of the city through a month-long celebration of shopping, dining and entertainment.

Adding even more to the experience, Hala Summer brings a season of offers, activities and rewards to some of Qatar’s most popular shopping and dining destinations.

Running from 1 to 31 August as part of Visit Qatar’s Hala Summer campaign, the Hala Summer Shopping Festival brings together nine of Qatar’s leading malls alongside participating restaurants from the Taste of Qatar network.

Special offers, family-friendly activities and exciting raffle prizes give visitors even more reasons to enjoy a summer getaway in Doha.
Whether visiting for a weekend escape or a longer summer stay, GCC travellers can explore a diverse mix of retail and lifestyle destinations across Qatar and its surrounding areas:

    Place Vendôme
Place Vendôme combines Parisian-inspired architecture, luxury shopping and dining <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/car-president-honors-uae-ceo-ali-alshimmari-with-commander-of-the-order-of-central-african-merit/”>with an impressive waterfront setting in Lusail City. Its canal and signature dancing fountains make it a distinctive destination to experience day and night.

    Doha Festival City
Doha Festival City brings together shopping, dining and family entertainment in Umm Salal Mohammed. Visitors can explore a wide range of international brands alongside popular attractions including Angry Birds World and Snow Dunes, making it an ideal stop for families looking to spend the day indoors.

    Mall of Qatar
Centred around its signature indoor Oasis, Mall of Qatar offers a lively mix of shopping, dining and entertainment in Al Rayyan. Live performances and family experiences add to its appeal as an all-day destination for visitors of all ages.

    Villaggio Mall
Located in Aspire Zone, Villaggio Mall is known for its distinctive Venetian-inspired interiors, indoor canal and gondola rides. Shopping, dining and entertainment come together to create a memorable experience for families and visitors, with its unique setting adding to the experience.

    City Center Doha
Surrounded by some of the capital’s leading hotels and attractions, City Center Doha offers shopping and dining in the heart of West Bay. Its central setting makes it a convenient stop for visitors staying in one of Doha’s most popular hospitality districts.

    Landmark Mall
With a setting inspired by traditional Qatari architecture, Landmark Mall offers a relaxed shopping and dining experience in Al Gharrafa. Its welcoming atmosphere and family-friendly offering make it a popular destination for a leisurely day out.

    Doha Mall
Bringing together shopping, dining and family entertainment, Doha Mall offers a contemporary retail experience in Abu Hamour. Its varied offering makes it a convenient destination for a summer day out with the family.

    Hyatt Plaza
A long-standing family favourite in Al Waab, Hyatt Plaza combines shopping and dining with dedicated entertainment for children. Its proximity to Aspire Zone also places visitors close to several of the area’s popular attractions, making it easy to combine shopping with a wider day out in Doha.

    Al Hazm
Grand architecture, landscaped courtyards and a blend of Arabian and European influences define Al Hazm in Al Markhiya. Its luxury boutiques and dining experiences offer an elegant setting for a relaxed summer outing, particularly for visitors looking for a more refined shopping and dining experience.

Shopping during Hala Summer Shopping Festival also comes with the chance to win. Throughout August, visitors spending a minimum of QAR 200 at participating destinations can have their receipt stamped before visiting a dedicated redemption booth to exchange it for a raffle coupon. Each stamped receipt can be redeemed once.

With shopping, dining and family entertainment brought together across the city, Hala Summer gives GCC visitors even more reasons to make Doha part of their summer plans.
