DUBAI: Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) will host a high-level panel discussion titled “Green Infrastructure and Retrofitting: Upgrading the Built Environment for Net Zero” on 27 August 2026 at Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park. The pre-event gathering will bring together representatives from government entities, the private sector, international organisations, academia, researchers and sustainability experts to discuss innovative solutions for creating energy-efficient, climate-resilient and low-carbon cities. The session will focus on green building design, retrofitting existing infrastructure, nature-based solutions, sustainable construction practices and policy frameworks supporting net zero ambitions.
Led by Dr. Habiba Al Mar’ashi, Co-Founder and Chairperson of EEG, the discussion aims to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among policymakers, business leaders and sustainability practitioners, reinforcing the collective commitment to advancing sustainable urban development and a greener future.
