KARACHI: Faysal Bank Limited (FBL) has reaffirmed its longstanding partnership <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/sbc-teams-up-with-conversion-conf-for-affiliate-leaders-summit-2026/”>with the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), reinforcing its shared commitment to expanding access to quality education and creating opportunities for future generations.

A senior delegation from Faysal Bank, led by Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Mian Muhammad Younis, visited the LUMS campus. The delegation included Mr. Hafiz Mohammad Yousaf, Director; Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO; and other senior officials. During the visit, the delegation also met with LUMS Founding Pro Chancellor, Syed Babar Ali.

A key highlight of the visit was the presentation of a cheque to the LUMS management as a contribution towards the University’s National Outreach Programme (NOP), which enables talented students from across Pakistan to pursue quality education regardless of their financial circumstances. The occasion also marked the unveiling of a commemorative plaque recognizing Faysal Bank’s generous support through the naming of an auditorium in the University’s Academic Block.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman Faysal Bank Board of Directors, Mr

Mian Mohammad Younis said, “This partnership with LUMS is a natural expression of a shared vision — that true progress is measured not just by achievement, but by the impact it creates for others. Faysal Bank’s transformation into a fully Islamic entity was guided by this same conviction, and through the Faysal Islami Scholars Programme, we are privileged to ensure financial circumstances never stand between deserving students and the opportunities LUMS offers. May this collaboration remain a lasting source of benefit for Pakistan.”

Adding on, Mr. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO of Fayal Bank commented, “At Faysal Bank, we believe the most valuable investment any institution can make is in people. This partnership with LUMS reflects our deep commitment to education as a cornerstone of a stronger, more inclusive economy — and we are proud to support the next generation of finance professionals who combine technical excellence with ethical leadership,”.

Acknowledging the Bank’s continued support, Syed Babar Ali, Founding Pro Chancellor, LUMS, said, “The true value of philanthropy lies in creating opportunities that continue to benefit society for generations. We are grateful to Faysal Bank for its enduring support of LUMS and for recognizing that investing in education is an investment in Pakistan’s future.”

Faysal Bank remains committed to expanding access to quality education and supporting initiatives that contribute to Pakistan’s long-term social and economic development. Through strategic partnerships such as this, the Bank continues to invest in developing future leaders while creating a lasting positive impact on communities across Pakistan.
