KARACHI: The 38th LADIESFUND Power Gathering brought together an exceptional group of Pakistan’s most influential women entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, artists, policymakers, and changemakers for an afternoon of meaningful dialogue, new connections, and international collaboration.

Hosted by Tara Uzra Dawood, Founder & CEO of LADIESFUND, the gathering welcomed German Consul General Thomas E. Schultze as Chief Guest, accompanied by his wife, Katja Heusel. Together, they engaged with some of Pakistan’s most accomplished women leaders, discussing innovation, entrepreneurship, women’s leadership, cultural exchange, and opportunities to strengthen economic and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Germany.

The distinguished guest list included Senator Nasreen Jalil, Senator Khushbakht Shujat, Member of the Provincial Assembly Musarrat Jabeen, Sima Kamil (Former President, UBL), Aysha Basir, Anum Nadeem Riaz (Director, Dolmen Mall), Jaweria Ali (News Anchor), Moneeza Butt (Partner, KPMG), Sheema Kermani (Classical Dancer), Ammara Masood (GM, Banking and Financial Services, Systems Limited), Maryam Chapra (Entrepreneur and Consultant, formerly with JP Morgan), Nabila Bano (Singer), Shanaz Ramzi (CEO, Starlinks), and many other accomplished women representing business, government, media, finance, technology, law, philanthropy, and the arts.

The event’s Beauty Partner was Depilex, while Sweets by Shireen delighted guests as the official Gift Partner, adding to the warmth and hospitality that have become hallmarks of every LADIESFUND gathering.

“Germany and Pakistan are celebrating 75 years of bilateral relations. For decades reliability, trust and sustainability have been vital components of our cooperation in various fields like business, innovation, education, culture and health. It was a true pleasure for me to engage with such an accomplished group of Pakistani women leaders and to witness first-hand the strength of their ideas, ambition, and commitment to creating positive impact. Conversations like these are key to further fostering connections between our two countries,” said Thomas E. Schultze, German Consul General.

“It was a pleasure to meet so many inspiring Pakistani women leaders from such diverse fields. The warmth, openness, and generosity of everyone at the LADIESFUND Power Gathering made it a truly memorable experience. Bringing together women who are making a difference in business, public service, the arts, and civil society creates meaningful opportunities for friendship, cultural exchange, and future collaboration,” said Katja Heusel.

“Every LADIESFUND Power Gathering brings together women who might never otherwise meet—but who often discover shared values, complementary strengths, and opportunities to work together. Creating those connections has always been at the heart of LADIESFUND’s mission, because when remarkable women support one another, the impact extends far beyond any single event,” said Tara Uzra Dawood, Founder & CEO of LADIESFUND.

Now in its 38th edition, the LADIESFUND Power Gathering series has become one of Pakistan’s longest-running platforms connecting distinguished women leaders with diplomats, policymakers, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and creatives to encourage collaboration and advance women’s leadership.

Guests praised the gathering for creating an environment where accomplished women from diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, build lasting partnerships, and inspire one another.

“Progress begins when experienced leaders, entrepreneurs, and young professionals are able to learn from one another. LADIESFUND has created a platform where those conversations happen naturally and continue beyond a single afternoon,” said Senator Nasreen Jalil.

“LADIESFUND Power Gatherings are consistently among the most thoughtfully organized events I attend. From the carefully curated guest list to the impeccable timing, gracious hospitality, and stimulating conversations, every detail is considered. Tara Uzra Dawood has created a unique platform where accomplished women come together not simply to network, but to exchange ideas, inspire one another, and celebrate each other’s successes. That spirit of generosity is what makes LADIESFUND so special,” said Senator Khushbakht Shujat.

“Pakistan’s future depends on developing more women leaders in business and finance. Forums like LADIESFUND encourage the relationships, confidence, and exchange of ideas that strengthen our institutions,” said Sima Kamil, Former President, UBL.

“Innovation happens when diverse perspectives intersect. As someone who has spent her career leading technology transformation, I know the most impactful solutions emerge through collaboration. LADIESFUND has created an exceptional platform where accomplished women across industries come together to exchange ideas, inspire innovation, and build relationships that create lasting impact for Pakistan,” said Ammara Masood, GM, Banking and Financial Services, Systems Limited.

“Having been part of the LADIESFUND family since its inception, we have witnessed first-hand the impact of cross-sector dialogue, which is fundamental to good governance and sustainable growth. Together, we have created an exceptional platform where leaders from business, government, media, and civil society engage in meaningful conversations, exchange perspectives, and build trusted relationships that create lasting impact,” said Moneeza Butt, Partner, KPMG.

“It was truly inspirational to see so many women conquering every domain in Pakistan with the support of LADIESFUND. LADIESFUND is an organisation that is breaking all barriers to entry for women in Pakistan and I’m proud to be part of an organisation that is a pioneer in women’s empowerment in Pakistan,” said Maryam Chapra, Entrepreneur and Consultant, formerly with JP Morgan.

“As a journalist, I value spaces where meaningful conversations take place away from headlines. LADIESFUND creates genuine connections that inspire new ideas and lasting friendships,” said Jaweria Ali, News Anchor.

“Leadership is amplified when accomplished women are visible, connected, and willing to support one another. LADIESFUND continues to provide a powerful platform for all three,” said Shanaz Ramzi, CEO, Starlinks.

The LADIESFUND Power Gathering continues to demonstrate that when influential women connect across sectors, industries, and generations—and with international partners—they create lasting relationships that strengthen businesses, communities, and Pakistan’s future.
