METRO BRAZIL Unveils Cutting-Edge Activewear Collection in Time for Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024

November 2024, United Arab Emirates: As the city prepares for the 2024 Dubai Fitness Challenge, METRO BRAZIL is proud to unveil its latest innovation in sportswear, inspired by the month-long wellness initiative led by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai. This collection is designed to support participants taking on the 30×30 challenge—30 minutes of exercise for 30 days—combining advanced textile technology with stylish, functional designs that promise optimal comfort and performance.

METRO BRAZIL‘s activewear incorporates state-of-the-art Hydrophilic Treatment, ensuring moisture management by keeping athletes dry during exercise. This technology aids in regulating body temperature and reducing muscle stress, essential for Dubai’s warm climate. The seamless construction of the garments offers irritation-free wear, allowing for maximum freedom of movement, whether during high-intensity workouts or casual activities.

Among the collection’s highlights is the Fitness Waist Corset, which combines style and functionality. Engineered with a double-layer intelligent fabric, the corset offers lower back support while maintaining breathability. Its elasticity adapts to body movements, providing comfort and compression without restricting breathing, making it perfect for daily wear or vigorous activity. The seamless design ensures a sleek fit, while the innovative fabric blend resists wrinkles, shrinkage, and maintains color vibrancy even after repeated use.

“We are thrilled to debut our activewear collection in sync with the Dubai Fitness Challenge, a citywide movement that perfectly aligns with our vision of promoting fitness and well-being,” said Alaa Kara Ali, Founder & CEO of METRO BRAZIL. “As the UAE’s athletic leisurewear market continues to grow, we are committed to offering our customers performance-driven apparel that is both functional and stylish.”

The launch comes amid a boom in the UAE’s athletic leisurewear market. In 2023, revenue in the sportswear segment hit over $250 million, with an annual growth rate of 6.36% through 2027. As consumers increasingly focus on health and wellness post-pandemic, METRO BRAZIL is poised to meet the demand for high-performance sportswear with its innovative designs.

METRO BRAZIL‘s collection includes leggings, sports bras, T-shirts, and jackets—all engineered for durability, breathability, and vibrant, long-lasting color. With features like moisture-wicking fabrics, abdominal support, and resistance to shrinking and creasing, this activewear is designed to keep up with the UAE’s active, fast-paced lifestyle.

As Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024 inspires individuals across the city to embrace fitness and wellness, METRO BRAZIL‘s activewear collection is the perfect companion for participants looking to take on the 30×30 challenge in style and comfort.
