Ooredoo <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/snoonu-arrives-in-kuwait-a-new-era-of-everyday-technology/”>Kuwait, the leading telecommunications and technology provider, has organised a blood donation campaign at its headquarters in cooperation with the Central Blood Bank, as part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and national support efforts.

The initiative saw strong participation from employees across the company, who responded enthusiastically in a show of solidarity and humanitarian spirit. The campaign also forms part of Ooredoo Kuwait’s wider “Na’een w N’awon” initiative, which promotes community support and mutual assistance.

The drive comes at a time of exceptional circumstances facing both Kuwait and the wider region, with Ooredoo Kuwait aiming to play an active role in supporting the healthcare system and strengthening its preparedness. By helping to maintain adequate blood supplies, the company seeks to contribute to saving lives and meeting the needs of patients and those requiring urgent care.

Employees from various departments took part in the campaign, reflecting a strong culture of giving and community service embedded within the company’s workplace environment.

The initiative further reinforces Ooredoo Kuwait’s role as an active partner in supporting Kuwaiti society, particularly during times of challenge. Through such campaigns, the company continues to back national efforts and frontline services through practical initiatives that create a positive and lasting social impact.

The donation drive was organised in line with the highest health and safety standards, in full coordination with specialist medical teams from Kuwait Central Blood Bank. The site was fully equipped with the necessary medical facilities to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of donors, while awareness was also raised about the importance of blood donation and its vital role in supporting the healthcare sector.

Commenting on the initiative, Ooredoo Kuwait’s management said the campaign reflects the company’s social responsibility strategy, which places support for the Kuwaiti community at the heart of its priorities, particularly during challenging times. They added that such campaigns serve as an umbrella platform for the various humanitarian initiatives launched by the company during this period.

Management also noted that the campaign highlights Ooredoo Kuwait’s core values of solidarity and social responsibility, while reinforcing the important role employees play as genuine partners in creating positive change. The strong response from staff was described as a clear reflection of their commitment to the community and awareness of the importance of contributing to humanitarian causes.

The blood donation drive is part of a broader programme of activities led by Ooredoo Kuwait under its corporate social responsibility framework, which supports key sectors in the country including healthcare, education and the environment. Through these efforts, the company aims to deliver sustainable and meaningful impact across society.

Ooredoo Kuwait continues to emphasise that its role extends beyond providing telecommunications services. Through initiatives such as this, the company seeks to enhance quality of life, support humanitarian causes and contribute to national development, in line with its vision of being more than a telecom provider — a true national partner helping to build a better future for Kuwait.
