KARACHIOn 31 August 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi organized a volunteer public service activity to commemorate the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother and Thailand’s National Mother’s Day, observed on 12 August 2026, at the premises of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Karachi.
The activity brought together officials, their spouses, locally employed staff, and members of the Thai community in Karachi. Participants worked together to plant trees and improve the landscaping around the Consulate-General’s premises as a tribute to Her Majesty and to express their appreciation for Her Majesty’s gracious contributions. The activity also aimed to promote environmental conservation, increase green areas and help create more pleasant and welcoming environment at the Consulate-General.
