The three-month series brings together guided meditation, sound healing, and curated monthly rituals in an intimate poolside setting

Kuwait, September 28, 2026: Waldorf Astoria Kuwait will introduce a new Poolside Sound Healing Experience this October, offering guests a serene journey centered on relaxation and mindfulness sound, and the calming presence of water.

Launching on October 3, 2026, the one-hour sessions will take place every two weeks over a three-month period. Each session will begin with 15 minutes of guided meditation, followed by 30 to 40 minutes of sound healing and a curated ritual inspired by a different theme each month, incorporating practices such as intention and wish setting.
Set against the tranquil backdrop of the hotel’s pool, the sessions will offer guests the choice of taking part on individual floating mats in the water or from comfortably spaced mats poolside, creating an intimate setting designed to encourage stillness and relaxation.

Commenting on the launch, Saleh Bataineh, General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, said: “At Waldorf Astoria Kuwait, we continue to explore meaningful ways to enhance our guests’ well-being through experiences that feel both distinctive and relevant. This new series brings together meditation, sound, and the calming presence of water, creating a moment to slow down, connect, and simply be present”.

The sessions will be led by Shaimaa Bou Rashed, Founder of THE POINT and a sound healing and meditation consultant. Trained internationally in meditation, sound healing, and aquatic therapy, she leads private and group sessions, floating sound baths, and tailored wellness experiences.

Shaimaa Bou Rashed added: “I’m delighted to collaborate with Waldorf Astoria Kuwait and bring sound healing to such a distinctive setting. Interest in the practice continues to grow within the Kuwaiti community, as more people explore ways to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate a greater sense of mindfulness. Through these sessions, I hope to create an inviting introduction to sound healing, allowing guests to step away from their daily routines, recharge, and simply be present”.

The Sound Healing Experience reflects Waldorf Astoria Kuwait’s considered approach to modern luxury, where moments of stillness and personal connection are thoughtfully woven into the guest journey. The three-month series offers a serene new way to unwind, bringing a sense of calm and mindfulness to the hotel’s distinctive poolside setting.
