KARACHI: On 25 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Surashete Boontinand, Consul General of Thailand received a courtesy call by H.E. Mr. Mohd Yunus Bin Ibrahim, the newly appointed Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi, at the Royal Thai Consulate-General. H.E. Mr. Surashete Boontinand welcomed H.E. Mr. Mohd Yunus Bin Ibrahim to Karachi and extended best wishes for a successful tenure in Pakistan.
During the meeting, the two Consuls General exchanged views on various matters of interest and discussed avenues for strengthening bilateral relations between Thailand and Malaysia, as well as opportunities for closer cooperation between their respective consular offices in Karachi.
The meeting reflects the warm and longstanding ties between Thailand and Malaysia, and the shared commitment of both consulates to fostering closer engagement within the diplomatic community in Karachi.
