KARACHI: Pakistan’s culinary fraternity celebrated a landmark achievement in Karachi as the Eat Pakistan Culinary Guild, founded by World Renowned Chef Faiza Bilal Khan, hosted the Pakistan Culinary Victory Celebration to commemorate the country’s first-ever international culinary trophy. The event brought together leading figures from the hospitality, government, business, media and culinary sectors to honour Pakistani chefs for their outstanding achievement on the international stage.
As part of the celebration, the Guild presented a special Chocolate & Gastronomy Masterclass, offering Pakistani culinary professionals and enthusiasts an opportunity to learn contemporary chocolate techniques and advanced gastronomy. The initiative highlighted Eat Pakistan Culinary Guild’s commitment to professional development, education and knowledge-sharing, while building stronger connections between Pakistan’s culinary community and international platforms.
The celebration also marked the approaching Independence Day, linking national pride with Pakistan’s growing presence on the global culinary map. Distinguished guests included Bastien Blanc, CEO Hospitality Division, Hashoo Group, Barrister Hallar Manzoor Wassan, MPA and Parliamentary Secretary, Food Department; Ishtiaq Baig, Honorary Consul General of Morocco; Muhammad Noman Saigal, former Sindh Minister; Azhar Zia, CEO EMA Enterprises and Patron-in-Chief, Eat Pakistan Culinary Guild; Syed Zeshan Hashmi, Advocate High Court; Shariq Jamal, MPA; Capt. Izhar Baig; and Kiran, Senior Host & Anchor, Masala TV. The Guild reaffirmed its vision to empower Pakistani chefs through education, exposure and international opportunities, declaring that Pakistan’s arrival on the international culinary map is only the beginning.
