    News Desk

KARACHI: Eight-year-old author and concept artist Izyana Umair launched her second book, The Art of Giving, at a special ceremony held at the Marriott Hotel, Karachi, on August 27, 2026. The event brought together distinguished guests, family members, educators, and supporters to celebrate the remarkable literary and creative achievements of one of Pakistan’s youngest talents.

The occasion was made even more memorable as it also marked the completion of Izyana Umair’s Ameen-e-Quran, making the day a significant personal, spiritual, and literary milestone in her life. Izyana, a Class 4 student at SMSA Khan School, is recognized as Pakistan’s youngest concept artist and story writer and is also a Guinness World Records nominee as the youngest story writer and concept artist.

Her literary journey began on August 28, 2025, with the launch of her debut book, Read, Color and Trace. Almost exactly a year later, she proudly presented her second book, The Art of Giving, reflecting her continued passion for writing, creativity, learning, and inspiring young readers. The book has been published by H.O.C Publications, which continues to provide a platform for emerging writers and young creative voices.

The Art of Giving explores the meaning of giving beyond material possessions. <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/abdulla-bin-damithan-were-proud-of-emirati-womens-contributions-to-dubais-economy-through-their-work-at-pcfc/”>Through an engaging and child-friendly approach, Izyana highlights that giving can take many forms, including giving a smile, time, knowledge, encouragement, a good idea, or simply a kind word. The book also introduces children to the simple concepts of reading, coloring, calculating, saving, spending, and giving, making learning an enjoyable and meaningful experience. While writing the book, Izyana incorporated frequently used Cambridge vocabulary to help young readers enjoy the story while learning new words and developing their language skills.

Speaking at the ceremony, Izyana shared her belief that giving good thoughts to friends, family, and the next generation is also an art. She encouraged children to never hide their talents and to confidently share their creativity with others, reminding them that age should never be a barrier to having ideas or making a difference.

She also highlighted the power of books as a form of giving, explaining that when thoughts are written in a book, they can continue to reach and inspire people for generations.

    During the ceremony, H

O.C Publications also honored Izyana Umair with the “Outstanding Literary Achievement and Creative Excellence in Writing” Award, recognizing her achievements and celebrating her distinction as the Youngest Concept Artist of Pakistan. The award acknowledged her contribution to creative expression, storytelling, and children’s literature, while highlighting the importance of encouraging young talents to pursue their ideas and passions.

The event was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Sheikh Imtiaz Hussain, Patron of Biz Today International; Mr. Fazal Karim Dadabhoy, Hon. Consul General of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Karachi; Saad Wadiwala, Founder of GCS Events; and Azmat Ataka from Japan Culture. Their presence added significance to an occasion dedicated to celebrating young talent, literature, creativity, education, and the importance of empowering the younger generation.

Izyana also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her sister Anaya Umar, her grandmother, mother, and father for their constant love, guidance, encouragement, and support. Her sister Anaya Umar is also a young author, and together the sisters are known as the “Trailblazing Sisters of Pakistan.” Their journey reflects the importance of providing children with opportunities to express their thoughts, develop their creative abilities, and share their stories with the world.

Published by H.O.C Publications, The Art of Giving is now available for readers and can be ordered through the official H.O.C Publications website at www.hocpublications.com. The book represents not only another milestone in Izyana Umair’s growing literary journey but also a message to children and families about kindness, creativity, learning, and generosity.

With The Art of Giving, Izyana Umair continues to demonstrate that young voices can carry meaningful ideas and inspire others. Her message at the launch was simple yet powerful: “Read. Create. Share. And Give.”
