Summer in Qatar offers families plenty of ways to keep young minds active and entertained. From immersive adventures and interactive museums to creative activities and educational attractions, children can learn, play and discover something new while enjoying quality time with the family.

Whether they are exploring a colourful new world, getting closer to nature or putting their imagination to the test, Visit Qatar highlights some of the family-friendly destinations and experiences to discover this summer.

    ColorVerse Experience
Step into a world of colour at the ColorVerse Experience, an immersive family attraction at the South Parking of Katara Cultural Village, running until 15 September. Children are taken on an interactive adventure to restore the missing colours of Colorama through light, sound, movement and teamwork.

The 35-minute journey takes visitors through a series of colourful and imaginative spaces, including the grey, red, green and blue zones, alongside a slide area, mirror zone and world reconstruction experience.

    The Panda House Park
Meet Qatar’s resident giant pandas at Panda House Park in Al Khor, the first destination of its kind in the Middle East.

The state-of-the-art sanctuary is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the pandas, while giving families the rare opportunity to see witness the lives of these magnificent animals up close.

    OliOli® Doha Children’s Museum
At Katara Cultural Village, OliOli® Doha Children’s Museum offers an imaginative space where children are encouraged to explore, experiment and let their creativity lead the way.
With six interactive galleries and 40 hands-on exhibits, the museum offers plenty of opportunities to build, create, play and discover.

Each space is designed to spark curiosity and make learning part of the fun

    Museum of Illusions Doha
The Museum of Illusions is located at The Gate Mall in the heart of West Bay, offering families a world where nothing is quite as it seems. Through optical illusions, interactive exhibits and mind-bending challenges, children and adults can put their perceptions to the test while discovering the science behind what they see.
With experiences designed for different ages, it makes for an entertaining family outing that combines curiosity, learning and plenty of surprising photo opportunities.

More Family Fun with Hala Summer
Families can make more of their summer in Qatar through Hala Summer 2026, with the Kids Go Free campaign offering complimentary stays, dining and selected experiences for children under 12 when accompanied by a paying adult. Families can also benefit from added-value offers across participating attractions, restaurants, tours and entertainment venues.

Hala Summer also brings family entertainment to shopping malls and hotels across Qatar, with complimentary activities, live performances, character Meet & Greets and interactive challenges across participating destinations.

Families can also enjoy themed hotel stays inspired by popular characters including Transformers, The Smurfs, CoComelon, and Hello Kitty and Friends, adding even more fun to a summer staycation in Qatar.
