RIYADH, Saudi Arabia – Global technology corporation FPT has officially inaugurated its regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as part of its global expansion strategy to meet the growing demand for digital services and solutions. This milestone makes FPT the first Vietnamese company licensed for regional operations in Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its commitment to the Kingdom’s digital transformation and Vision 2030. The opening ceremony coincided with the official visit of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Saudi Arabia.

Strategically located in the heart of the region’s largest economy, the Riyadh headquarters positions FPT closer to key clients and unlocks new business opportunities. By leveraging its global network and extensive expertise in AI and semiconductors, along with deep insights across sectors such as manufacturing, banking, government, and transportation, FPT is enhancing its capacity to expand its regional presence and service delivery throughout the Middle East.

As the first Vietnam-based enterprise authorized for regional operations in Saudi Arabia, FPT is poised to address the region’s rising demand for advanced technology. The Middle East’s young, tech-savvy population is driving digital adoption across various industries, positioning FPT to seize new business opportunities, foster local employment, facilitate cultural exchange, and promote knowledge transfer. The new headquarters is also set to build sustainable partnerships with both public and private entities, actively contributing to the advancement of Saudi Arabia’s technological ecosystem.

Dang Tran Phuong, Senior Executive Vice President of FPT Software, stated: “As FPT continues to expand our global presence and client base, the Middle East is a crucial part of our strategy. Our direction aligns closely with the region’s focus, particularly in AI. With our extensive market experience, we understand the unique aspects of the Middle Eastern business culture and are dedicated to collaborating with local companies while enhancing local recruitment. This commitment enables us to deliver the best services to our clients and support their digital transformation journeys.”

Rimah Ghaddar, Chief Executive Officer of FPT Software Middle East, emphasized, “Our new regional headquarters symbolizes our commitment to Saudi Arabia’s aspiration of becoming the leading technology hub in the Middle East. FPT is steadfast in enabling speed, agility, and scalability for our regional customers and promoting cross-border collaborations.”

FPT’s strategic focus on AI, integrated into all its services and solutions, aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy, foster innovation, and enhance public services through technological advancements. Since establishing its first office in the Middle East in 2020, FPT has rapidly expanded its footprint, experiencing significant growth with key clients across various sectors. By leveraging its global expertise and technology, FPT is positioned to drive transformative change and contribute to the Kingdom’s ambitious development goals, while strengthening global partnerships and fostering robust regional collaborations.

FPT’s regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia is located at the Esplanade, Prince Turki Bin Abdulaziz Al Awwal, King Saud University, Riyadh 12371, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
