Reinforcing its role as a community-driven, tech-enabled platform through its ongoing CSR program

Kuwait, 1 April 2026: As the region witnesses collective tensions and local communities grapple with a state of distress, talabat, the leading on-demand online ordering platform in the MENA region, is setting an example for the role of responsible corporate citizenship and successful corporate responsibility. Building on the values and principles of the holy month, the company was present amongst its community throughout Ramadan, engaging them in a series of initiatives designed to support communities, partners, and customers across the country. These efforts build on talabat’s year-round commitment to creating meaningful impact, reinforcing its role not only in fulfilling everyday needs, but in contributing to the wider community it serves.

“Ramadan is a time of the year that is synonymous to peace, giving, and solidarity. This year, however, we were tested as a community to go the extra mile to instill those values and ensure they are truly lived and experienced. As we extend our prayers for the safety of our beloved country and its individuals, it was essential to also double down on our on-ground efforts that materialize these values into tangible action,” commented Bader Al-Ghanim,  Chief International Markets and Managing Director at talabat Kuwait. “During this holy month, we launched a series of diverse initiatives for supporting our community and partners who are the cornerstone for our business. Our efforts throughout the holy month were also an extension for our commitment to creating meaningful impact across Kuwait.”

Bringing this commitment to life, talabat led the Food Basket initiative in collaboration with Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company (KFM), Mishref Co-op, and Namaa Charity, providing essential food baskets to families in need across Kuwait throughout the holy month. talabat employees, beginning with senior management, volunteered on-ground to support the food basket packing process, reflecting a shared commitment to community support.

In a similar effort, talabat doubled down on its commitment to fostering riders’ health and wellbeing by distributing more than 14,000 “Break Your Fast” packs throughout the holy month, in addition to distributing more than 2,000 Iftar meals during the last 10 days of Ramadan. Furthermore, the company utilized its vast network of partner restaurants and provided complimentary, co-funded meals for riders picking up orders for delivery, ensuring riders have access to nutritious and healthy Iftar meals while on duty.

talabat also held its annual Ramadan Ghabga event, which brought together key partners, government stakeholders, media representatives, and collaborators in celebration of Kuwaiti tradition and appreciation of their pivotal role in talabat’s success, as well as to strengthen the ties of cooperation binding talabat’s network of partners. Honoring its Kuwaiti roots, the company held the Ghabga event in conjunction with the National Day to celebrate the country where it first launched.

Driven by a commitment to partner success, talabat expanded its presence beyond on-ground initiatives through collaborations with leading media outlets and influential figures to spotlight its partners’ Ramadan specialties and signature items, amplify their reach, and drive meaningful audience engagement. Through these efforts, it solidified its support for partners, enhancing their growth potential and cementing its position as a key driver of their business success.

Together, these initiatives reflect talabat’s active engagement with the communities it serves and its continued commitment to delivering meaningful impact across Kuwait. By combining on-ground support, strategic partnerships, and media collaborations, talabat further reinforced its role as a community-driven, tech-enabled platform that contributes to both everyday needs and meaningful moments.
