Union Coop Celebrates Customer’s Apartment Win in ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ Campaign

DUBAI: Union Coop celebrated its customer, Hussain Kazim, who won an apartment as part of the ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ campaign, organised by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) in collaboration with Dubai Chambers and Dubai Summer Surprises. He qualified for the campaign after shopping at one of Union Coop’s branches.

The winning journey began on 16 June 2026, when Kazim shopped at Union Coop’s Al Barsha branch and uploaded his purchase receipt through the campaign platform. In the draw held on 26 July 2026, he was selected as one of the apartment winners. He subsequently received the key to his new home during a special celebration held on 2 August 2026.

Commenting on the occasion, Mohamed Al Hashemi, Chief Executive Officer of Union Coop, said:- “When we speak about the shopping experience, we mean moments such as these.

Kazim did not simply win a prize; he won a home in the city he has chosen to live in. The fact that it all began with a simple purchase receipt <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/hugobank-achieves-pilot-<a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/edenred-uae-receives-in-principle-approval-from-the-central-bank-of-the-uae-for-stored-value-facility-license/”>approval-from-state-bank-of-pakistan/”>from one of our branches reflects what it truly means for our branches to be closely connected to people’s everyday lives.

“We are proud to be part of a campaign led by Dubai, a city that believes opportunities should be within everyone’s reach. We congratulate Kazim on this remarkable achievement and say to him: this is your home.”

Union Coop encouraged customers to retain their eligible purchase receipts and upload them through the campaign platform after shopping at participating outlets, giving them the opportunity to benefit from the prizes available under the campaign.

Union Coop reaffirmed its pride in participating in initiatives that embody the spirit of Dubai and support the emirate’s objectives of strengthening economic activity and stimulating the tourism and retail sectors. Such initiatives positively impact customers and the wider community while providing distinctive shopping experiences and valuable opportunities for shoppers.
