    News Desk

KARACHI: Data Vault Pakistan has signed a three-year contract with the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) to deliver Sovereign AI Services for the Federal Government of Pakistan, marking a milestone in Pakistan’s journey toward secure, sovereign, and nationally controlled artificial intelligence infrastructure.

Under the contract, Data Vault Pakistan will deploy enterprise-grade NVIDIA AI infrastructure, including the latest H200, B200, and A100 GPU platforms, enabling NTC to offer GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), Models-as-a-Service (MaaS), and enterprise AI capabilities from its highly secure, government-managed data centers.

The platform will provide secure compute, advanced AI infrastructure, and access to leading AI models, enabling government institutions to accelerate AI adoption while ensuring that critical government data remains protected within Pakistan and under Pakistani jurisdiction.

The partnership establishes NTC as Pakistan’s premier government platform for sovereign AI, enabling federal institutions to securely leverage artificial intelligence while maintaining complete control over critical data, compute, and digital infrastructure.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Maj. Gen. (R) Ali Farhan, HI(M), Managing Director of NTC, emphasized the strategic importance of localized AI infrastructure: “Computing power is the backbone of modern digital infrastructure. By securing high-performance NVIDIA GPUs and hosting advanced AI models locally, NTC is taking a decisive step to protect Pakistan’s digital sovereignty. This self-hosted, highly secure environment minimizes exposure to public clouds while providing our designated government clients with world-class AI inference and training capabilities.”

Mehwish Salman Ali, Founder & CEO of Data Vault Pakistan, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to building Pakistan’s sovereign AI future, stating: “Artificial intelligence will define the next era of national power, economic growth, and public service. Nations that control their data, compute, and AI infrastructure will shape their own future. Through this partnership with NTC, Pakistan takes a historic step toward building a secure, sovereign, and AI-enabled future. We are proud to deliver Sovereign AI Services that will empower the Federal Government of Pakistan through trusted national infrastructure, hosted in Pakistan, governed by Pakistani law, and operated under national control.”

Syed Zeeshan Ali, Chief Operating Officer of Data Vault Pakistan, highlighted the broader impact of the partnership, saying: “This partnership is about more than deploying technology. It is about building the AI foundation Pakistan needs, creating opportunities for our youth, empowering government institutions, and ensuring that Pakistan is not only a consumer of artificial intelligence, but also a creator of it.”
The implementation will be led by Data Vault Pakistan, delivering enterprise-grade AI infrastructure backed by 99.9% service availability, comprehensive operational support, and secure AI services for government institutions through NTC.

The partnership also aligns with Pakistan’s national vision of accelerating artificial intelligence adoption, strengthening sovereign digital infrastructure, and enabling the country to emerge as a regional leader in trusted AI.
