KARACHI: The Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi His Excellency, Mohd Yunus Ibrahim was honoured to attend the celebration of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on Monday, 17 August 2026 at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Karachi.
The celebration commenced <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/sirajuddin-aziz-signs-publishing-agreement-with-lightstone-publishers/”>with a flag-hoisting ceremony, followed by a reception featuring vibrant Indonesian cultural performances and a culinary bazaar showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Indonesia.

E. Mr. Irfan Soomro, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Liaison Office in Karachi, who attended as the Chief Guest. The event also brought together members of the Diplomatic Corps, Consuls General and Honorary Consuls General.
