ABHI Microfinance Bank Starts Digitizing Its Branch Network in a Big Way with the Launch of DIY Banking

ISLAMABAD: ABHI Microfinance Bank is taking a major step in the digital transformation of its branch network with the launch of DIY (Do It Yourself) Banking introducing a new generation of self-service solutions designed to transform how customers access and experience everyday banking.

Built around freedom, convenience, speed, and customer empowerment, ABHI DIY Banking gives customers greater control over their banking experience, allowing them to carry out supported banking activities independently through dedicated self-service touchpoints.

At the heart of this transformation are ABHI ATMs, Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs), and Self-Service Kiosks, creating a connected self-service ecosystem that brings digital banking capabilities directly into the branch environment.
From Traditional Branch Banking to Banking on Your Own Terms

    Digitizing the Branch Experience
ABHI DIY Banking is built around how customers live, transact, and manage their finances — rather than asking them to adapt to traditional banking processes.

Through dedicated self-service touchpoints, customers can access supported banking services independently, reducing reliance on traditional counter-based banking and making everyday transactions simpler, faster, and more convenient.

The new DIY Banking ecosystem includes:
ATM Convenient access to cash and supported banking services.
CDM Fast and convenient cash deposits through a self-service channel.
Self-Service Kiosk A digital banking touchpoint that enables customers to access and complete selected banking services independently.

Instant Card Printing Enabling customers to receive their cards instantly, a first-of-its-kind offering in the industry. The launch marks the beginning of a broader transformation of ABHI Microfinance Bank’s branch network, bringing together digital innovation, self-service infrastructure, and traditional banking touchpoints to create a more connected and customer-first experience.

Rather than simply adding new machines to branches, ABHI is reimagining how customers interact with the bank giving them greater choice, speed, flexibility, and control.

As Pakistan’s first digital microfinance bank, ABHI continues to push the boundaries of what a modern banking experience can look like, bringing digital capabilities closer to customers across its growing branch network.
