    WMO Pakistan Chapter Swears In New Leadership for 2026–2029

    DUBAI: The oath-taking ceremony of the Regional Management Committee (RMC) members and office bearers of the World Memon Organisation (WMO) <a href="https://middleeastdaily.net/ipak-unveils-next-generation-packaging-films-at-3p-pakistan-eyes-higher-value-exports/”>Pakistan Chapter for the term 2026–2029 was held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Sapphire Hall, Karachi Gymkhana.

    The oath was administered by Mr. Farooq Ahmed Poonawala, Election Commissioner of the World Memon Organisation Pakistan Chapter for the term 2026–2029.

    In his address, Mr

    Poonawala provided a detailed overview of the election process, outlining the procedures followed before, during, and after the elections. He also presented his comprehensive election report and shared important insights regarding the overall electoral process.

    A total of 10 RMC unopposed members, along with the newly elected office bearers, took their oath and formally assumed their responsibilities for the new term.

    Following the oath-taking ceremony, the newly elected leadership took the stage to share their vision, priorities, and plans for the upcoming tenure.

    Ashraf Machiyara, newly elected President of the WMO Pakistan Chapter, along with Mr. Arsalan Arif Nara, Regional Secretary, and Mr. Musaab Vindhani, Regional Treasurer, presented their vision for the organization and outlined their plans for the new term.

    During the proceedings, Mr. Ashraf Machiyara nominated Mr. Zahid Hussain Piprani as a Co-opted RMC member and administered his oath.

    Mr. Machiyara also expressed his heartfelt and immense gratitude to Mr. Asif Majeed Panawala for his valuable cooperation, support, and contribution during this whole process.

    The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter for the WMO Pakistan Chapter, with the newly elected leadership reaffirming its commitment to serving the Memon community and working collectively toward the organization’s objectives during the 2026–2029 tenure.
