Supporting Kuwait’s aspiring tech talent through knowledge-sharing and real-world exposure

Kuwait, 13 August 2026:  talabat, the leading everyday app in Middle East & North Africa (MENA), hosted the latest edition of its Next Tech Gen (NTG) program at its headquarters in collaboration with AIESEC in Kuwait, a global non-profit youth leadership organization, run 100% for youth by youth. Bringing together AIESEC in Kuwait’s members and youth delegates, the full-day session combined expert talks with a behind-the-scenes office tour, reflecting talabat’s commitment to providing young talent with meaningful real-world exposure while reinforcing its education-focused corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

NTG is talabat’s ongoing monthly knowledge-sharing program that brings the company’s tech leaders into universities and academies across Kuwait to share hands-on insight into AI, product, data, and digital platforms, supporting the development of the country’s emerging tech talent. Building on previous editions, this session went beyond a single workshop format, providing participants with a 360-degree view of how a leading regional tech company operates.

Amal Bukhamseen, Manager of Corporate Affairs at talabat Kuwait, commented: “At talabat, we believe meaningful learning comes from real-world experience. It’s one thing to hear about how a leading regional technology company operates; it’s another to experience it firsthand by engaging with the people, culture, and ideas that drive it every day. Through our partnership with AIESEC in Kuwait, we’re proud to give young talent that opportunity while supporting the next generation of Kuwait’s digital talent.”

The knowledge-sharing day with AIESEC in Kuwait covered three key areas: an overview of talabat’s business and operating model, an inside look at the company’s people, culture, and employee experience, and a session on how data informs marketing decision-making. Participants also toured talabat’s departments, engaging directly with employees across functions to gain firsthand insights into their day-to-day work and the collaborative culture behind the business.

Lilian Montasir, Area Manager at AIESEC in Kuwait, said: “The Next Tech Gen workshop at talabat gave me valuable insights into marketing and people development. What stood out most was seeing how closely talabat’s way of working aligned with how AIESEC operates and seeing these practices applied in a professional environment. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, supportive, and genuinely cared about our learning. As I begin my journey as an Area Manager, I’m excited to carry these learnings with me and put them into practice throughout my term.”

The session reflects talabat’s open, people-first culture and its continued investment in Kuwait’s youth by providing direct, cross-functional exposure to the technology and business world. Through Next Tech Gen and partnerships with organizations such as AIESEC in Kuwait, talabat continues to open its doors to aspiring young talent, creating opportunities to engage with industry, broaden their perspectives, and apply academic learning in a real-world business environment.
